How much does a dumpster rental cost?
- The cost of your dumpster rental will depend on the size of the dumpster being rented and for how long. Naturally, the longer you rent and the larger the dumpster, the more it will cost you. Contact us today for exact quotes!
Are there things that I can’t put in the dumpster?
- People are often tempted to rent a dumpster to just throw away all the junk that they have, but not all trash can be put into a dumpster. Items such as electronics, asbestos, paint, and biohazardous waste cannot be placed in our dumpsters. We offer special accommodations for removal including but not limited to tires, mattresses, concrete, organic/yard waste (dirt, trees, leaves, etc.) and much more.
What size dumpster do I need?
- The size roll-off dumpster that you will need depends on the project you plan on doing. For a small-scale remodel like a bathroom, a 6, 10 or 12-yard dumpster will likely be enough for you. Larger projects like a basement clean-out and remodel may need a 20- or 30-yard dumpster. You can always tell us the type of project you are embarking on and we can recommend the size dumpster you need.
Where can I place the dumpster?
- A flat, hard surface such as a driveway is the best place to place your dumpster. It is best to avoid slopes, city streets, and soft ground. Placing a dumpster on a city street can result in fines unless given a permit by the city. Sloped ground can cause the dumpster to slide and cause property damage or injure someone.
Do dumpsters have a weight limit?
- There are weight limits on dumpsters. So, you should be careful when loading heavy items such as concrete, bricks, sod, and drywall. A general rule of thumb to help avoid weight limits is to not exceed filling more than half the dumpster with these heavy materials. Feel free to consult with us if you are unsure of how much you can throw away in the dumpster.
